HW.FANSPEED#
Description
This parameter returns the current speed of the fan that provides cooling for the specified power board.
Examples
Usage
The parameter value can be used to track the fan speed as it changes based on power board temperature.
At powerup, the drive runs the fan at full speed for a brief duration to ensure correct operation. It then ramps the fan down to normal operating speed. After powerup, the drive adjusts the fan speed as the power board temperature changes during drive operation.
